I have Creative's Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium sound card for some time now my pc been playing up, the main probs is my pc don't always turn off or takes along time to or to restart. I thought it might be my raid 0 so I brought the intel 80gb ssd hard drive but after putting on my software I had the same probs in the end it is my Creative's drivers every time I install dts connect pack I have the same probs. I need this soft ware so I can use 5.1 sound with optical cable.
have anybody else had this probs.
 
Agreed. The daniel_k pack made my audigy 2 zs usable in windows 7 :) Just make sure you get the latest pack.

Yes you are spot on and there is a fix for it :cool:
got this from the creative site

go to this ftp and follow instructions , it does work
the user and password are
Username: betaex
password: AVPavp2008

I had the same issue. Only way to stop it hanging or taking ages to shutdown was to disable the DTS and Dolby Live connect packs in the Creative control panel before shutdown or restart. Simply check box. Takes 2 seconds. Known issue.
