French concorde investigation...

BA are in enough trouble as it is, Concorde is something that won't be appearing any time soon (sadly).

We often went to London years ago, loved hearing/seeing the plane.

A brilliant piece of engineering, and should definitely be restored and kept in great condition, but as for flying after numerous incidents (causes aside for the moment), I think we should let bygones be bygones.

They need to build a newer version, seems to be we have taken a step back as we retired the old one, but have nothing as good in place

Sadly it's all about number of passengers rather than speed these days. Hence bigger planes like the A380

it costs to much to fly in/run. Wasn't it £6k a ticket to New York?

I paid £600 for flights and 2 weeks accommadation to Florida lol, it took 13 hours to get there (Norwich > Schipoll > Detriot > Orlando but look at the price difference :p

I would rather see 5 deck passanger airliners with amazing fuel economy over the Concorde gas guzzler.

While it would be fantastic to have one flying again, I think we should just let the old girl rest in peace.

If they could get it going it would be perfect to fly to Arab money land, they bought QE2 and love anything that the west built.
