I would love that! Would look like rick ross cruising around in that and it looks so much comfier than a focus!
Well best laid plans, currently sitting in a car park in my RS4, which my wife went shopping in with a flat front tyre. Simple enough you'd think but oh no! First off no spare so it's tyre gunk. Second, said tyre gunk is not the right one for my car and third, to really get me wound up, the dust cap is bonded to the tyre and even a pair of pliars will not move it. Warranty ran out 3 weeks back as did Audi assistance but luckily my bank account comes with full AA cover.
So my nice chilled Saturday after a hard week has turned into swearing, kicking of my car and now sitting in a public car park waiting for a yellow van to pitch up. This car, I reckon it goes by the name of Christine.

I didn't know they did 420 SEC. It may be more insurable! Red is a really colour for a SEC, the white ones with AMG kit look good aswell.

That's the worst colour they made, with the worst engine and velour not leather to cap it off

I've never been much for Mercs although I'd love a 560 SEC or SEL - would not mind which - as an alternative to say a 750i....
The 500E and a 190E 2.5 Evo would be top of the list too, oh damn! I'ver just thought of the SL.....
Don't be quite so deluded, if there was ever a car that proved the old "Buy a BMW on condition not age / mileage" adage then yours is it.
Ok, it'll never command a premium like a similar condition e39 M5 would, that said, its just the sort of car that'll wind up somewhere like Old Colonel Cars with a price to suit.

I have an old w124 in stock at the minute, it was a part ex against a lovely Jag I sold.
The previous customer had owned it for 7 years and looks like he's maintained it himself. Mechanically it's lovely and I had to replace a window regulator on it which was very easy.
But the bodywork is shocking, wouldn't be so bad but he's tried to fix the rust using rattle cans!
So I'm in two minds at the min, I've got it advertised cheap in it's current state but as with all cheap cars I keep getting idiots phoning me wanting 60% off the price! I could just advertise it till I sell it or spend £500 and make it look mint - and increase the price but £1000.
It's got plenty of history before previous owner and plenty of Tax and MOT left on it - so if it sells it sells otherwise it's going to the paint shop!

Wonderful. If a proper Stratton one showed up at a decent price, I'd love one as a garage queen.

I love 124 saloons and coupes. The 500 is really special!! I have been very tempted on more than one occasion to sell my 330CI and replace it with a mint E320CE!Honestly, I owned a fairly rough one a few years back for a short while and loved it. So much better built than the W202 C36 I owned. A nice 124 is timeless IMO.
Let us know what you think of it! I think I would rather take the SL60 he has for sale though
I can vouch for the SL60 as have just bought an R129 SL60 AMG myself. Fantastic car and really pleased with it. It cost £115k new but 13 years later I think it is a bit of a bargain as had lost most of the original £115k!
