Just moved into our first home and we're going through the process of buying furnature. Anyone know any decent places to get wardrobes and such from?

Thanks :)

We bought our wardrobes from spaceslide, essentially just sliding doors. You take the measurements and choose the colours, they send you the doors and the rails to roll the doors on. We have ours running the width of the room and it cost about £700. The doors are the full height of the room and in total its about 4m wide. Since it covers the chimney we are using the alcoves as the traditional wardrob space, i just put 2 rails in (one high and one low) and then a shelf at the bottom with some big baskets under for undies and stuff. We each have something like 8ft of rail space because there is no wasted space. Also it looks great in the room and we have 2 mirror doors which are full height too.

Because we dont need any drawers or anything the room is really clean looking because once the doors are shut, everything is behind them :)

On the chimney eventually will be a TV and another mirror for the wife to do the makeup thing and again because its behind the doors, the room looks nice when its all closed.

Check your ceiling heights if you go to Ikea.

Apparently someone who moved in several doors down from us (new built road of houses) didn't and found the his nice new wardrobe was to tall for the room :p
