What are your thoughts on this mod? I think it looks pretty good with the fade in/out effect when hooked up to the courtesy lighting but I'm a bit scared about the wiring of it all :(

Id prefer them if they were the orangy amber of stock angel eyes - everyone seems obsessed with HID style clolour

Had them on my E46. Think they were CCFL (name rings a bell). Hooked them up easy, just connect them in basically.

I'm sure it's technically possible to create an 'angel eye' ring composed of multiple LEDs and program them like a ropelight.
So if some other driver does a silly thing, one could do a 'rolleyes' at them.

Too bright, too white, too obvious.

Even the new 5 series looks bad enough with the new white halos. e39/e60/e9x is where it's at.

ok it seems it's not such a good idea judging by the responses here :)

Thing is, my lights on each side have the one xenon projector and then the normal halogen next to it (with a little parking bulb and the main h7 that only comes on with full brights {is this how it should work?})*

it looks odd to me as the xenon is nice white next to an orange halogen, I'm thinking of changing the parking bulb (need to research good ones still) and the h7 with osram nightbreakers. What do you guys think of this?

*soz bout ({}) usage lol

These sidelights, 501 W5W Osram Halogen Cool Blue Sidelights should be a good match as are the nightbreakers.
