2 new tyres needed

Budget?

Remember, these tyres are the only thing that connect you and your friends/family to the road. It's always best to spend the most you can possibly can justify.

Looking at the Camskill list, I'd go for one of the following in that sort of price bracket:

Federal SS595
KUMHO KU 31
FALKEN ZE912

The problem with going by reviews is that tyres are a very difficult thing to gauge. As long as they aren't completely awful, your average joe won't be able to tell the difference between a brilliant set of tyres and an awful set until he really needs the extra grip but all of the above seem to have a decent reputation on the internet.

Personally I'll be fitting Federals to my car in the near future based on the recommendation of a Friend.

Also, remember that you have to factor in fitting costs if you buy from somewhere like Camskill! Sometimes It can actually works out cheaper buying from your local tyre place once you include fitting and balancing!

anyone know a pretty cheap place to buy 2 new tyres. FWD car and i need rear tyres.

size: 205/45/ZR17

really can't afford to be buying right now but they're needed.

What car? Have a look on the car forums to see what people like. My car the Kumho KU31 are highly rated for road only use where as T1R's and Eagle F1's are not so. BMW's seem to really respond to Eagle F1's.

i'll have to have a look at that before buying, i just remembered seeing on here that fitting was around £20 not sure if that's each or what but my local places are looking for £140+ per tyre inc. fitting

it's an mgzr 1.4 03, good point about asking on their forum, i'll take a look their soon.

Don't know if they're about in that size but I've just got some Nexen CP641 tyres on my 620ti and they're pretty good :)

Yea, I'm sure they are. My only experience with Nexen tyres was a full set fitted to a 528i Sport I test drove a few years ago. They were so far beyond terrible it was hilarious. It's often impossible to notice the difference between tyres on a breif test drive, but these were so bad it was like driving around with teflon coated tyres

Dont see the point in being ultra cheapo with tyres when stuff like the FK452 and KU31 offer half decent performance at a budget pricepoint.
