If you are talking frequently & getting on well why don't you just ask her Why she hasn't text you or owt.
As far as going out on her One day Ask her to meet you in the day & go for a drink/Lunch whatever & then it doesn't have to be a late night & effect work.
Tell her you want to buy a few new tops & would like a female opinion.
Once you have her out of work then you'll be able to read her better & see if there is any pasty on offer.

I was thinking of asking her out to the cinema and maybe a drink or something to eat afterwards.
Would going to say a nice india resturant a bit much for a first date or should i just take her out for a couple drinks afterwards?

Never ask a Woman to the cinema on a first date, Never. You face away from each other & are watching a film so don't talk, there are also annoying arms on the chairs so you can't fiddle with her. :(
First dates need to be Casual as then the woman will be more likely to say Yes to it.
If you offer a casual drink then she knows she can escape where as saying Yes to a meal etc commits her to a few hours with you, Scarey for women as they are Never sure about Anything.
I deffo think your best bit would be to ask her to meet you down town on her day off for a cuppa T & a wander.

One of my best first dates was something I didn't think would be too great lol.

Went for a coffee at the metro centre (shopping centre) then ended up just going about and shopping/wandering about. She bloody loved it lol. (I had to put up with shopping.. but it was worth it ;) )
