Oh, maybe because they knew when they set sail (apparently/allegedly after chanting anti-Jewish hate slogans) that their journey would end with being boarded and stopped by the IDF, since they were repeatedly told? Are you really suggesting they boarded without any warning?

All the people, countries that already hate Israel will of course say Israel is wrong. I mean come on they are hardly going to say lets wait until we have heard the full story. Even if Israel was 100% correct and had all right information and could prove they did it for x reason they will still be condemded by those people and countries.

While I think it could have been handled differently I dont think I have heard the main reason behind why they did it (other then guessing the reason). I mean it could have been any number of reasons. The information they could have acted on could have been majorly wrong or right lets see what has or hasnt been found.

I cant remember who said it but honestly why would an aid worker attack an armed solider I think thats crazy really. I mean if you were boarded by what you think is an army I think the sensible thing would be to settle down and leave them to it. But then again if the Israeli's went in heavy handed I dont blame people reacting that way. Once again hard to say without knowing why!

All I will say is its really hard to judge as all partys are trying to warp, smear and tell a different story. At the present no one is right or wrong but as other have said it could have been dealt with differently. Just wait for the investigation to say who was right or wrong and what the finds or overall outcome was.

Why would aid workers have stun grenades unless if they had an intention of attacking the people boarding, or smuggling them into Gaza?

They tried that, everyone was offered citizenship (many took it), but the neighbouring Arab states said no don't take it we'll destroy Israel and give you it all.

They failed, now Israel doesn't want them and their Arab neighbours don't want them as when they last let them in the Palestinians tried to for a coup and over through the government of the country that let them stay.

So you're sailing to Israel on a boat that the Israelis have threatened to board before it has left port. You would be pretty stupid to actually load weapons on board when the chance of being boarded was so high.

Conversely, what better way to justify the killing by the Israelis than planting contraband on board the ship? I would not be surprised for it to come out that crates of AK 47's and rockets were seized. Who could question it? The ship is in Israeli hands.

You're taking Israeli army reports that their soldiers were shot as gospel. As I said before, maybe they needed to spin the story after their soldiers got too trigger happy.

Correct. There is lots of talk about what happened but nothing has come to light to say which side is right or wrong. Wait and see is another expression which would be well suited to this post instead of people jumping on there normal side without looking at all the facts and knowing what is right or wrong first.

I can see poles and other similar implements being used by the passengers, but that =! AKs and stun grenades.

Lets be clear about one thing... if the Israeli soldiers had gone in shooting or got "trigger happy" there would be a LOT more than 10-20 dead.

Its also incredibly stupid to attack armed soldiers, with iron bars, axes, etc. having previously made it public you were going to attempt to run their reinforced blockade.
