What's the best medium entry GFX card out there?

i'm currently sporting a 260.

PS: I'm not in to overclocking my GPU's and I like them quiet.

Thanks.

Hey dokko,

what does "medium entry GFX card" and " £200-250" have in common with each other? :D

That aside . . . are you specifically talking about a single card or is Crossfire an option . . . . Does it have to be a new purchase or are you considering used also? . . . is there any specific marketing-mind-control features you need i.e Microsoft DirectX® 11? . . . what resolution is your monitor? . . . which games do you feel are laggy with your GTX 260?

Definitely ATI 5850. Best value for money card out there at the moment.

Or consider selling your GTX 260 and putting the money towards a 5870.

Can't go wrong with a HD5850 mate. At other price ranges there might be potential for debate but not here. Go with the consensus, you won't be disappointed.
