It's impossible to have a 'quiet word' with everyone who has more than the allowable amount of For Sale threads open in MM, it's also only fair to previous & future transgressors that everyone is treated the same

Once for using a popular phrase to describe a rather nasty word. Fair enough.
Once for using an Irish variation of the F word which I thought was harsh. I also believe I was the first person to be suspended by the then newly appointed mod, von smallhausen. So go me, I guess.

I agree and I'm not trying to be awkward here-I also don't know the ins and outs of dealing with these things-I am merely stating that -as impractical as it might have been, that would have worked for me. I think also my transgressions were noticed when the rules for dealing with too many open posts had just been changed again (and warnings were no longer given). For me I will be more cautious in the future
