New Car: 350z

Looks very nice bud, and I don't think £1500 is very much considering your age and ncb at all. Good choice and I hope you enjoy it.
 
The only thing to do to the wheels if you must would be to replace them with the optional 18inch Rays as they look cracking, but these aren't exactly bad! They look good.
 
Yeah, the rays are lovely, however, the price isn't!

Before I look at the alloys I'm going to improve the performance a bit with the better air filter, plenum spacer and maybe an improved exhaust (nothing too loud and chavvy though).

I was also looking at a number plate, would be XX04 ZZZ or my Initials instead of XX, which is a lot cheaper! Unfortunately, GT isn't available.
 
I helped some guy in the street get his off the ice in the winter, he was way bigger than me so he let me drive as he pushed :D

Only went a few metres, but the drivers seat felt like a very nice place to be
 
Nice car!

I looked at a few of these back in the day, loved the grunt they had, and really quite low insurance compared to what I'm used to paying for the Subaru. Good choice :)
 
Very nice car, far better than the Civic but I do think you are in for a massive shock running this compared to something like the Civic. It might only have been a £500 cost to change but everything else about this car is going to be massively more expensive. How much is a set of discs and pads all round?

Also everyone seems to be getting very excited about the fact you got a 350Z for 'only' 500 quid without taking a closer look at the deal you got. Assuming average mileage on your Civic EX, the amount they offered you for it was not that bad, perhaps 400ish less than you ought to have got, but not the end of the world.

Unfortunately, though, a 100k 04 plate 350Z is actually worth quite a bit less money than a 45k Civic EX - infact almost £2k less.

Still, it's done now - just be careful with it :)

How the **** did you manage to insure that lol.

Im 20 and 3 years NCB and when I asked Churchil for a quote on a Fiesta ST i was told politly to re think my car choice.
Fully star out swear words!
 
Yeah what is it with people slamming cars to the floor these days it looks awful, all the Civic lads do it its a shame as one of the reason I like jap cars is they are generally more function over form
