Debadged the front grille today, opinions please?

Look like he's hiding an oil cooler behind the passenger side vent.

Kosta, get a pink jay-dee-em style badge for the grille.

Andy is right, got an oil cooler in the passenger side one. The drivers side one will soon be feeding my induction kit.

Why didn't you remove the sti badge as well?

Wanted to try it with it first, the actual mesh is the one from my own grille, so didn't want to take it off (fragile little clips) if I didn't like how it ended up looking.

You spent all that time doing that? I'd have done it for you in under 30 seconds with some cutters.


On a serious note, I prefered it with the badge.

It took about 2 hours in total, my brother had the necessary resources to do it, and I wanted to see how it looked, not a bad way to spend a short amount of time I don't think.

Currently I'm divided on it at the moment. Don't know if I like it, hence asking the opinions of others, nothing to justify here. It was simply done as a bit of DIY fun to see how it looks, the general opinion is that it's not good, which I kind of agree with, it just doesn't look quite right. But maybe it's because the rest of the front end is so standard, who knows. Either way I now have a debadged grille for a total of £10 - I could sell it for more
