After my car had been bumped ever so lightly I've become paranoid and check my car when I leave anywhere but home, not that inspecting damage before I leave college/work/etc will make a blind bit of difference, anyway I'm rambling.

Went to college, had half a lesson and felt a bit chilly and went back to my car to get something and found -

First instinct from an outsiders perspective and direction of travel is that I was a numpty and did it, but the journey to college is short, under 1.5 miles and there was absoluetly nowhere I can think of in where I could do that, I didn't even hear anything or see myself coming close to contact, I'd have to mount a pavement to do that anywhere along the route.

So I believe some expletive has done it and effe'd off hoping nobody saw, CCTV on the car park is "not working" either. The first day I bought the car someone on the ferry left their hand-brake off and their vehicle played bumper cars for a few seconds, yesterday I also had someone make a minor mark on the rear bumper and a few months ago someone did the front.

Personally none of them were that bad and you had to really look to see the damage but todays is enough to warrant a repair. :(

There's a motoring festival next weekend and was running up to get it all nice and clean now it'll look all stupid :(, at least quote isn't bad, £165 from the most recommended place on the island.

Sucks but feel fortunate its purely cosmetic and contained to one small patch rather than someone keying all down one side :S

Thats annoying.. I get irate at stuff like this.

Seems every time I get into the family mobile, a focus, it has more scratches on it. Some anus keyed a big "X" on the boot the other day and i've had many others that luckily t-cut out. Seems someone in the road doesn't like me, or the kids these days are worse than I thought.

Usually though its someone in a car park that uses your car as a parking guide... literally

That's a real shame but it can be fixed and at least you use your car and park it up as you would any other car. So many other Mustang owners I know won't take there cars out if it means they will have to leave it parked up somewhere.

Yes it's nice to keep your car in perfect condition but when that means it prevents you from enjoying actually driving/using it then that seems a little bonkers to me.
