Favourite pizza takeaway?

I use a local pizza shop mostly, not keen on Dominos or Pizza Hut and they are really expensive.

Plus they don't do chips, kebabs, decent garlic sauce or PARMOS! :D

I used to be a pizzahut stuffed crust fan, but there pizzas have started being tasteless and horrible. Ive broken up with them. I tried snappy tomato and i love that every now and again but sometimes it upsets my stomach. Now i go for dominos pepperoni double decadence with garlic herb sauce ... mmmmmmmm, yes i realise i sound like a fat pig.

Only use Dominoes when I have vouchers, like the 2 for 1 or 50% off. Even with the vouchers I'd probably go local. Cheaper and you actually get cheese on it, not just tomato sauce lol.

I always use the home delivery option and google for voucher codes, almost always 25% off or more when you spend over 20.
Pizzahut have started offering me 2 for 1 any day of the week now for some reason.

You would have done, except this post came in before you.

or PARMOS! :D

And as for further commenting on Domino's, most of their special offers seem to be for spending over £20 or big pizzas. Since I seem to be destined to become OcUK's first male spinster they're far from ideal.

Tesco/Asda Finest Pizzas. As a student I don't have take away pizzas anymore. I can get a better one for half the price in the same amount of time. :)

Pizza Gogo is quite good from my experience. Dominoes is foul, though. The best pizza I ever had was from some Italian restaurant in London, it was ****ing glorious.

Another vote for Perfect Pizza, who are owned by Papa Johns, so I'm going to presume the pizzas are the same.

Dominoes pizzas are crap, they taste like the frozen supermarket ones.

I used to like Pizza GoGo until I found my local ones environmental health report online, it got zero stars and sounded horrendous so we stopped ordering from there.

I like Dominos as its less greasy but Pizza Hut has better flavours (especially in the toppings).

I enjoy proper pizzas more and enjoy making them myself, when I have my own house I am going to build a pizza oven in the garden.

I do tend to use a local place and order online using Justeat, Most places have pretty good meal deals on.

Papa Johns - Papa's Pepperoni Plus

I went to a nice pizza place in Manchester called 'Dough' (I think) and had an English Breakfast Pizza (Sausage, Bacon, Black Pudding, Fried Egg), was the nicest pizza I've ever had in the UK by a country mile. No idea if they do takeaway though, didn't think to look as I don't live anywhere near there!

theres a lovely pizza in edware called cappriccios. they have a special order on weekends.

but 1 16" pizza and get another free. ( but it is pickup). basically i get 2 16" pizzas for 14.99

Pizza gogo is good value but I always find theres one slice that tastes like fairly liquid. Dominos aint bad. Local places aren't terrible but a lot of the time the toppings just taste a bit grotty. None of the decent pizzerias round here do takeaway.

Usually just make a pizza if i'm at home, even if i'm drunk. Homemade pizza is cheap and tasty. Cook on this big slab of slate I found on a beach (Put it in the oven to get nice and hot, then put the pizza on and back in the oven), always recommend it, cooks the base evenly and crisp.
