Fake eBay account

I'll try and keep this sort and not use bad words :D

So, I've never sold any thing on webay before seeing as I didn't have an account. So other day I made one and upload a camera on there to sell. It was all going well as the next day It was sold, so I then got a MSG from the user asking if I can send it to a diffrent address and she will give me the money once she got the tracking code (not going to happen)

So, I then went on eBay again later on to find a MSG from eBay safty saying that the persons account was removed or something die to something being wrong.

I then readded the camera on eBay and before even 5mins went, it was sold again. I had a look at the buyer account and the just registerd so I had a feeling it was the same person on new account.

I then got MSG asking if it's working etc and asking if I can send it to diffrent address and not the one on paypal.

So now I've given up adding it to eBay again until I know this person had a ipban. I was going to email eBay and tell them but can't find a email for them.

So, how can I tell eBay about it?

New account no feedback. Don't sell to those with little or no feedback.

Ebay is a "wretched hive of scum and villainy", mostly from ebay themselves.

Be glad it wasn't sold, you'd feel even more scammed at their fees.
 
Reporting idiots on ebay is a simple 10 step process:

1. Click "Contact Us" (at the top)
2. Click "See more topics" (to the bottom right of the smug grinning woman)
3. Click "Rules and Reporting Members"
4. Click "Reporting a member"
5. Click "How can I report a member who is breaking eBay rules?"
6. Click "Behaviour that eBay investigates"
7. Scroll down to "Buying Offences" and click "Unwelcome bidding"
8. Click "Some examples"
9. Click "Report a buyer..."
10. Fill in that form

I've used it before and they did respond to it but the members involved are still active members :(
 
Yea my house mate had the same issue.
5 times he put up a phone for sale, stating no international delivery and each time it was bought with a follow up email to ship Nigeria.
Obviously each time he put it up he had to pay the charge and each time it took over a week to sort out with the bay to get any of the charges refunded.

Its a joke sometimes!
 
You can set a filter on the auction to stop people with no feedback from bidding - just used the advanced option when setting it up.
