It's finished (crash content) (now incl. new car content!)

Unlucky dude, can happen to the best of us, glad you are OK.

Are your NCB protected? I know some people get a personal attachment to cars but im not sure I would want my right off back unless there was some profit to be made from cheap repairs + low by back option.

Reported it to the insurer & underwriter this morning. So now the long wait begins, I guess. They're sending an inspector within the next 48 hrs apparently.

Still feel like a total idiot. I drive that road all the time. I've always been careful on the bend it happened as it is a bit dodgy even in the dry. This time around though I just lost the backend totally.

The "empty space" in the garage is the worst thing about it.

Live and learn. Won't be making that mistake again, that's for sure!

Just be glad you made a mistake in which nobody else was severely injured or worse.
