I've just received an insurance replacement for my old stolen bike. Looking at it, it seems really rather smart, but isn't really designed for what I am now after.... I was going to sell this on OCUK MM but it doesn't appear I can do that. Does anyone have any recommendations please? Bike is boxed, brand new, still got packaging on it, never used etc and located in Central London.
Now. My new bike requirement. I'm looking for something to commute in to London on (distance is circa 10 miles) and ideally capable with a change of tyres going over commons/bridal paths etc.
I've tried out a Trek FX 7.3 that seemed really nice, as well as Specialized road racing bike, but in honesty I wasn't that keen on the road racing bike 'stance' for cycling. Is there anything else in this sort of arena that I should be considering?
To those who know me wondering how I am now commuting 10 miles, news to follow that I am moving (AGAIN!) from the crack den that is Battersea to the leafy 'burbs of South Bromley.. Anyone who regularly commutes into London by bike from there let me know your thoughts on routes !
