I'm going by myself as my mates were useless and didnt register in time. If people are meeting up for beers beforehand then there's no such thing as going alone! Just come along to the meeting place.

How does the 2 ticket thing work, me and the Mrs are registered, i got the tickets, so how do i like make her my +1?

The confirmation e-mail said 2 tickets, and someone from here got me the tickets, name slips my mind now, but seeing as it says 2 General admission tickets?

In that case you might be alright, as long as you gave them both codes (it may have been me even, I don't remember who I registered). Both tickets will be sent to the first person that was put in, so they'll both come to your house.
 
Just got my confirmation though :) Though, I'm not sure if I was put in at the same time as someone else, so my tickets could wind up anywhere :p Up for some drinks, certainly.

I drove from Warwickshire to Scotland and back in 2008 to see them at T In The Park. It was a full weekend so slightly different, but there was barely another band on all weekend that I even slightly wanted to see.

As for support acts, they had Asian Dub Foundation supporting them on the Battle of LA tour when I saw them in London in 2000, so I'm expecting some lesser known band/outfit that they think deserves recognition, which should be cool.

The amount of kids that'll be there in Rage t-shirts who weren't even born when they released their first album will no doubt annoy the majority of us, but free Rage is free Rage so I'll put up with them for one day.
 
Bumping this 4 days before the gig!

Anything going on? I'm going to take a guess that it'll be quite hard to find eachother, but I do owe someone a drink for getting my ticket :P

So what's the plan? Is there a near by watering hole we all plan to hit before finsbury park opens the gates?

I'll be easy to spot in the pub, as my brother didn't get a ticket I'm heading down on my own, ill be the geek in the corner of the pub posting on OCUK with my desire.

The gig is Finsbury Park, London. The tickets are all customised with pictures of the ticket holder printer on them to avoid forgeries/touts/etc.

I only know this because I've seen my friends, whose arrived last week at my house yet mine and the Mrs' are still to be seen. Getting scared now :(
