No hotlinking!

It's the two year anniversary of the company which makes the larger cubes and so they've added a lot of discount to their items (v-cubes.com if you're interested). I figured it's worth it considering how much entertainment a 3x3x3 has given me over the last year.

Anyone else interested in cubing?

How hard is that 7x7x7, im assuming it works exactly like the original?

in that case :S

The most common method to solve the larger cubes is to put them into a state where you can solve it like you would a 3x3.

In the case of the 7x7 (and the 5x5), you therefore need to build a 5x5 block on each face to act as the center of a 3x3 and then build the four 5x1 edges around the six 5x5 blocks on each face. After that it's just solving it like a 3x3.

Once you learn how to do it, it's not actually that difficult, the 4x4 and 6x6 cubes are actually harder than the 5x5 and 7x7 because the centres aren't fixed. It obviously takes more time the larger the cubes are.

How about a 7x7x7x7x7 Rubik's cube?

I can do a 3x3x3 cube in around 3-4minutes... but I think £9.99 is way to much let alone £60!

2 min 44 sec is my fastest and there is no way of me ever beating that :p

It is a bit boring now I know how to do it.... £60 thought is a lil too much.... It got an apple logo on it or what ?? :p

I got so frustrated with the normals rubiks cube, and magic rings as a kid that I maliciously broke them, pulled everything apart they ended up beyond disrepair.

I'm not autistic, but things surely made me go barking mental!

Dunno if women like guys who can do rubix cubes, on the one had it shows your good with your hands, on the other its a rubix cube

There are 3 types of women you can impress with the magic of your hands.

Those who love the Guitar,
Those who love the Piano,
And those who love the Violin.

However, if they love the magic of Rubkiks Cube solving, I would run far far away :p
