you would think that the bop would have sealed the well in the first place before the rig sank and broke the pipe....

The bop was chucking out bits of rubber the size of a fist when they were sealing the well. However it passed a safety test hours before hand also apparently

I don’t know, on the news just now BP said it won't know if last night worked for another 12 hours.

I have a pile of snapshots and will post them a little later, now time for another strong coffee.

I don’t believe them, we both saw what happened and the state of it now. I’m absolutely knackered after three nights. Never mind it’s Friday and the weekend is almost here. I’ll probably fall asleep on the keyboard.

Think it only looks worse because of the cap spreading it out, It couldnt actually get any worse than it was though..

Lets just hope they can lift the cap off and it's not wedged or something
