I think I like this best as he doesn't used swear words or talk a loud of rubbish about guns and drugs, he just uses his lyrics to rap a story. Genius.

True that illmatic is his best work, his god's son album is very good, and I do listen to it more than illmatic.

It was written got stated when it came out, but it's a slow burner and a lot better than some of his other albums, and if compared to some of his recent work it's a master piece.
 
Bump! Just discovered this masterpiece of a track from Eazy-E, dissing Dre and Snoop when they fell out following the NWA financial arguments. Eazy-E died from AIDS shortly after the 'beef' subsided, having been shagging anything that moved since he was about 12.


(This is the censored version. Search 'Eazy-E uncensored' for the best version).

One of the other rappers in this video, Dresta, is now a registered sex offender, having been convicted of "Lewd or lascivious acts with child 14 or 15 years old" and "sexual penetration with a foreign object" :eek:.

modern hip hop doesn't have the feel of the hayday and apart from NaS, Rick Ross and the Game, I listen to to the each track on its own merit and never the album as 90% of the tracks are pants..

I haven't listened to Thug Life in ages. Stay True just made me want to dig out my old cds again :) Thanks for the reminder :D
