Controls were fine.

Meh I never got on with it, you have to mangle your hands in to some silly positions if you use the cover system and aim down sights etc. Plus the general inaccuracy of the PS3 analogue combined to make it a real chore to play for me, gave up after about 4 hours I think.

so hyped, loved kz2 even if the end boss fight was a ball-ache.

also enjoyed the weighted controls, makes a nice and immersive change from most 'my bald space marine in afghanistan is a pro ballet dancer, look at him twirl!' generic fps's.

There was little auto-aim which is probably why people don't get on with the controls.

Personally, I preferred it, much more rewarding than COD.

The "Gimped" Controls people are talking about are essentially the lack of skateboard motion like other FPS games. There's weight to the character. And I actually prefer it. And definately add to that the above

This looks intersting, Im guessing they're pretty much gonna try and impliment good CQC into the game, Which will be awesome

killzone 2's graphics engine with uncharted 2's punch people in the face engine.

i may have just had a man accident.

Uncharted 2 has the best graphics on a console to date I thought?

I really enjoyed KZ 2 and played the online for quite a while :)

didnt like the 2nd one, thought it was seriously overhyped and was quite a boring game and very much a corridor shooter with some decidedly dodgy controls (i got through 50% of it)
so not really excited about this, but im sure theres many that are for some strange reason.

Still dont see how this is going to work for those who doesn't have 3D TV's

Unless of course it's 3D in the sense that the new Batman Game of the Year edition is

I'm really enjoying it so far, but have to agree, controls are far too "laggy" compared to most FPS games.

It did get a new update where it had a toggle for a less laggy mode which helped a LOT, but I still struggled. Overall I found the game a big mess of 'wtf is going on, where am I going, why am I going there?' and lots of lovely grey and brown textures.

The intro is amazing though :p.

I agree. I didn't really know what my objective was or why I was doing it half the time. I just shot people in the face untill the next level started.

The story in killzone 2 was the biggest disappointment of that game tbo. I really hope the story in Killzone 3 is good and they actually make you care about the characters.

I thought the controls was suppsoe to be hard? like in a sense of making it a challenge, instead of face smashing through like you do in games like COD etc. :p
