HTC Hero or Nokia X6?

I've been told by someone in my local t-mobile store that they may be able to get me a desire on the £25 tariff, but it depends on the "spend" that's available when i go in to upgrade.

I think it's something to do with my bills over the last year or so? Which have averaged £35 - £40.

Any idea of what kind of deal I'll be able to get on a desire direct from t-mobile, my contact is up in Oct and I'll have been with them 18 months at that point.

Atm unless you're threatening to leave, you're not allowed a desire on anything less than a £30 tariff but I think that's just because of a combination the massive amount of fraud we seem to be having to deal with atm and because stocks are so low.

Thankfully though, next week we're getting over 3000 into the company which should help massively, it also may mean the price will drop fairly rapidly (when the desire first came out you used to be able to put it on any tariff then they bumped the prices sky high to protect stock).

By October I imagine getting a decent deal on a desire will be fairly easy but there's just no way to find out for definite until the final 30 day period.

Besides, by then we'll have the Samsung Galaxy S in too ;)

This is basically what the guy over the phone told me like 3 weeks ago, but he said they would get stock at the start of the month. Im still waiting for him to call me back, he also tried to push the HD2 on me but i told him the winmo sucked balls and he agree'd
 
I'd say, give it a couple of weeks to a month and prices will start becoming reasonable again since we'll have good stocks of it.

T-mobiles buying department aren't very good at buying at the right time, e.g. we had no stock of the samsung tocco lite when we brought the prices down to their lowest level, and now prices are back up now that the offer has ended, they've sent us millions of the bloody things.

It's all good fun :p

Phone and haggle with T-Mobile i got a Desire on launch with 300mins/texts 3 gig internet and unlimited landlines and free phone for £25 a month, phoned up last week and got it knocked down too £20 a month.
