I have no flags on my car but I do have a team of 11 england football teddies that my mum won. I am sure they will be useful in the world cup for a drinking game or making some money.

I have to agree. There's a certain block of flats in SW London (known to be rough) that I pass regularly and the whole building is draped in England flags. So unfortunately whenever I see one, I just end up thinking "scum".

Some people seem to regress into some kind of instinctive behaviour. One chap up the road was telling me how he always has an England flag flying out oh his bedroom window on days when England are playing.

I asked him why and he blankly stared back for a few seconds before saying "because England are playing".
