So when you die you simply lose the awareness of your own conscious. You simply do not exist.

Don't think about it, no point wasting time wondering and contemplating it.
Got to be rather sad if you spend your time wondering what will happen to you when you die to be honest.
Narrow minded?
I don't believe in it, but I hope there is one.
I do, but I'm not sure exactly what. I was brought up as a catholic and went to church, I believed in God. Sometimes I do now but sometimes I don't. I really don't know. I know some of it is wishful thinking in that I want there to be something after death but deep down I do believe there is something else.

No. We're just mammals that developed the ability to ask Why? How? Where? When. I suppose through the millenia we got so stuck into our own nonsense and man-made spirits that people want to believe.
You die, your energy and atoms disperse into other living matter. That's the only way you will live forever. It will not be conscious.
I am depressed because of the state of my life at the moment. I've got this 'orrible feeling that if there is such a thing as reincarnation, knowing my luck, I'll come back as me!

When you think about it what a load of tosh - life after death.
