Barber shop ettiquette

I walked into a barbers once. I sat down with the other customers waiting, not taking too much notice of my surroundings. A few seconds later I started to look around and realised I was in an ex-shop of some kind, stripped of its fittings. The only thing in there was a 'fitted' kitchen unit propped up againt a wall with a small mirror balanced on top of it. The 'barber' was an Indian lad that looked about 16. He had, what looked like, some cheap Argos clippers and one pair of scissors. I took out my mobile, went to ringtones and played one. I then made a sharp exit for the door whilst taking my important 'call' :p

I cut my own hair now but that's what i used to do. I found it awkward at first asking for a certain barber as the one i go to is just a small place and there's only 2/3 of them there at one time.
It's fine after a while because that same barber knows how to cut my hair, know what style i want all the time, and there's no awkardness. The other barbers know i wait for my usual barber now, they don't bother asking me lol.

I ring and book the same guy everytime, have known him years. When I walk in the others say hi and leave me to wait for him as they know. once or twice I've used the other but only if he's not in and I'm desperate.

You could awlays get ya mum to call and book for you asking for the one you want, seeing as your not man enough ;)

Mine has a sign up that says 'please ask for your favourite barber....we will not take offense'.

Having said that, I just get a number 1 all over, so it's difficult to go wrong.

Any man who makes an appointment for a haircut is a gayer.

if it is a special occasion get yourself to a real hairdresser

trust me it is fun you'll get a hot gal to wash you hair and then cut it for you
look around for a good hairdressers and go do it!

get balaclava'd , and just wait for jack to turn up for work and 'do him' bosh, drag him round back of shop , then jay will be the only one to do your hair.

Hairdresser > * tbh.

Had the same girl (well lady now!) cut mine for aaaages.

Gay *tbh :p

My local has 4 guys working and there's one i try to avoid. I've never got a good haircut with him so resort to the tactics OP mentioned. Usually just hope he's busy or if not, go out to make a call when he 'swings the seat' :D
