Is the title any good or complete overkill? Any ideas and thoughts would be great! I want to be able to upgrade my graphics for at least a couple of years on the new DX11 tech and still be able to compete. This is my max spend. I currently run an nvidia board as in sig and this is the end of the line for pc building for me for the future as im gonna be a dad, so I would like to sort of ( i know its impossible ) future proof my rig so I can at least game, word process and surf comfortably for the next few years till the bambino is grown

I would get a 480 on its own for cheaper that will last you around 3 years for high end gaming.

seems alittle pointless to me, but at least your GTX260 isnt wasted. or you could sell it and get a GTX480 ?

Why Rroff?

Theres literally 2 games that can properly use a GTX260 for PhysX, none of the few other PhysX titles need anything like that amount of procesing power and currently most of the big name titles that were going to use PhysX have switched to Havok or a flavor of ODE which obviously can't take advantage of the 2nd card.

Well, I have bought a GTX480 for my new computer and I still have my old GTX260 from my old system, so I was wondering if it would be worthwhile
me using my GTX260 card as a second graphics card for PhysX or something else I could use it for along with my GTX480.

Would it be worth it or no point really???

Thanks for responding.

I think the GTX480 will be able to run as both, its only the odd game that takes advantage of a second card. You could fold with the 260 maybe ?

I`m not exactly sure what GPU Folding is or if it would be anything that would interest me.

Is folding something similar to benchmarking or is it something useful???
