Right, gave them a run today;
On the road they seem reasonable enough - perhaps a little bit soft and numb on turn in than what I'd like, but overall there is no real noticeable loss of grip over the old tyres (ZZP F/Nero R) and this is before they have really been scrubbed in properly (~60 miles).
At the auto-test they were still very slippery to begin with, resulting in some heavy understeer early on, but as the day went on they got progressively better and better, and I do not believe they reached their full potential, so its a bit of an unfair test.
Again, the turn in felt a little soft/numb, perhaps some adjustment of tyre pressure is needed (34F/36R currently), but lateral grip was overall good.
One thing I will say is that the shoulder of the inside wheel got pretty heavily scuffed, and some of the grooves flapped over as the tyre got pretty hot - it'll wear back in again (although it'll be going on the back) but then this isn't really an issue unless you are doing auto tests or perhaps tight airfield track days, as it was a direct result of driving on the limit on an inside wheel around a very tight course, some of which on a very abrasive gravely concrete surface, all in a 270BHP FWD car with no LSD.
Overall, for the money I'm impressed, on the road I'm happy with what I've seen so far, and I'm sure they've got more to give yet. That said, unless a bit more pressure improves the feel, I think when the Mondeo tyres need changing, I'll put these on there and buy myself some Ultrac Sessantas.
