Me. I'm a typical straight plaster, specialising in wounds on fingers, arms and other such areas. For Knees or elbows my buddy is a butterfly plaster.

Tip - Buy the cheapest brand. We're all made in the same factory anyway.

Plasters.

Flexible and durable. Keeps the wound clean.

Those damn waterproof ones always fall off when they get wet!

Get some proper elastoplast (the fabric stuff) almost impossible to get off when it's been on for a couple of hours. The rubbish stuff already shown in this thread is well, rubbish...

The biggest scam ever.

Plus where are plasters for coloured people? Everytime I use one I unintenionally have to announce to the world I've been cut.

They actually do do brown plasters as well, however i'm guessing they are not that popular in most areas of the UK...:p

As for a plasterer, my dad did a bit (was a general builder) and tbh it can get boring very quickly, however if you're good and work long hours (think 6:30-6pm) then it's pretty good pay.

FYI you can double click on the thread title in the main forum view to edit the title for a short while after posting, one of the lesser known features of OcUK.

My brother is president of the National Federation of Plasterers

unfortunately I know jack **** about it :p
