Hey guys

I've noticed that I've been listening to the same bands over and over and am looking for some recommendations!

I am very open to most genres but would rather stay clear from rap, dance and drum and bass.

Here are some of the bands I listen to!

Muse, Biffy Clyro,The Killers, BFMV, Rise Against, Radiohead, Silverstein, Queen, Brad Paisley, Creed, Guns And Roses, Mumford and Sons, Snow Patrol, AC/DC, Story of the Year, Coldplay, Korn etc!

Would love to hear some suggestions :)

I'm loving Noah and the Whale at the moment,

Peacfull, The World Lays Me Down has kind of a Mumford and Sons sound to it.

The First Days of Spring, is just an Epic album all round.

If you could just suggest your favorite 2/3 bands that would be more helpful :)

A, maybe one hit wonders, but their Hi-fi Serious and Monkey Kong albums are still imo good.

I suggest A out of those, listen to I(heart) lake tahoe, Monkey Kong, Good Time, The Distance songs, to get an idea.

Death From Above 1979, although they only ever did one album before splitting afaik, but it was an epic one. The whole album is good.

Its a tough picking one more.

I would say Funeral For A Friend. They have a greatest hits, so you can't go wrong with that.

Edit: The lead singer of Postal Service is lead singer in Death Cab for Cutie, so they might be worth a shot.

Frank Turner's newest album (ex-lead singer of Million Dead) called Poetry Of The Deed is pretty decent, you can find one of the songs here in the form of The Road.

For something a bit unlike anything you'd probably normally listen to I recommend the Mexican Institute Of Sound, for instance their cover of Bittersweet Symphony is just fantastic, most of their songs aren't covers though as far as I'm aware and are pretty good from what I've heard.
