Demon Plates Query + pics of car

They will be illegal, but unless you wind a copper up in some other way, I doubt they'll even take a second look.

As far as they care the font is legal and so is the spacing.

I wanted to know your opinions on the angel eyes, evidently it was shot down so they will need to wait for a car that has them oem

You didn't do something because someone on the internet suggested otherwise (or because they wouldn't work or something?)

I think the CCFL angel eyes look ok (when hooked up to the courtesy lighting) but I want to keep the car as oem as possible so I have discarded the idea. Many people on here also made me see the light and wait until a car has them as standard rather than a cheap retrofit.

You can remove the "Demon Plates" text in their options. I had a set from them on my CTR:

You can see some small text at the bottom right which IIRC had the BSAU and postcode on there (I still have the plates at home so will check).

Thanks Dup I appreciate you putting that pic up - it seems the supplier details are very small in the bottom right corner :)

However that plate is appalling

Postcode?

Scot Hall BMW just printed their URL with BS number on my plates last year!

My plates aren't road legal but i've passed an MOT and been driving for almost 10 months without being pulled. It's all plain except for the bs watermark and the identification itself. Nobody will really give a damn. Just don't attract attention.

You will be fine, until......

It does fail it's MOT - testing stations are supposed to be looking out for this and I personally know two people who have failed MOT's because of missing BSU numbers.

Or you get pulled and get a £30 fine - £30 which would have been so much better in your own pocket and all for the sake of a few lines of text on a number plate.

Plates arrived today and fitted - I am very chuffed with them! they are exactly what I imagined :)

I opted to use 3 adhesive strips per plate to secure it to the car. The front plate is slightly curved so I hope it all holds, I meticulously prepped the area so will have to wait and see.

Personally I think it's a failplate :(

Why not just get a plain one!

Plus, your front one is not aligned straight!

I've already explained why I didn't want a plain one :p

I noticed that as I looked at the pictures - it not noticeable on the car unless you really take a good look. It does suck though knowing it's not uber anal perfect :(

Looks ok, but probably could have got them a lot cheaper from a stealer as they were.

Still, I'll sell the Evo and buy a BMW if you get pulled over for them.

You wont get pulled over by them but i can't see how it was worth the extra for what looks like a tacky stuck on sticker or something.
