Streetfighter Vs. Tekken

Don't think it would work too well, Street Fighter characters only have about 10 moves, would probably be quite limited in comparison to the Tekken jugglers.

Tekken sucks and this wouldn't work anyway as Tekken has been proved to not work in 2D and Street Fighter has been proved to not work in 3D.

Wrong. In Tekken 'command normal' attacks are counted in the move lists, when you take into account command normals for SF characters on top off their supers, ultras, and special moves it's well over 10.

We've never really had a 2D Tekken. I suppose you could count the very first Tekken as 2D although some characters could still sidestep, notably Kazuya.

If you count individual moves and then combos then I think you'll find the Tekken characters have many more moves than the SF ones. I'm not being a fanboy, I enjoy a blast on HD Remix as well as the Tekken series.

this wouldnt work, whether is sf going 3d into the tekken world or tekken going 2d into the sf world.

but really tekken is for people who cant play virtua fighter, the game plays like virtua fighter with less technique and more mashing. plus you cant customize your character like vf.

oh yeh this would work........not.
what a ridiculous rumour, theres one thing doing cap vs snk, or cap vs tet but tekken - your kidding right? anyone that believes this is a true tard.

Street fighter EX never really took off, if anyone remembers that

I'm in the minority that slightly enjoyed it because it really only felt 2D the way it was managed with movement but 3D characters. I just liked doing the insane combos, I was young. :p

I quite liked the music in the Street Fighter EX games, especially on the Home Versions.

As for Street Fighter vs Tekken, I hope not. It just wouldn't work and is too much of a mismatch. I would say Street Fighter vs Mortal Kombat would be the much more likely one even with huge dificulties in that one, and if Tekken was to go against another fighter, it should be Sega's Virtua Fighter.

But honestly, with Tekken's stupid juggling system, it will be hard to find some compromises to make completely different fighting game systems work together. Fireball spam vs Juggling spam, yeah no thanks.

i dont think its true and i also cant see it working.. the design of the chars are just too different. one set (or both) or the chars would have to be completely redesigned to handle the mechanics.

tekken cast vs fireball zoning in a 2d game? fireball zoning being side stepped in a 3d game? etc.

the only vs. game anyone should be talking about right now is marvel vs capcom 3 :D
