Who is going to Lemans this year

Last time I went someone stole my shoes  I was catching a pensioners half our in my car just after the start after a few too many mini bottles

Wife has a client who always goes. Her and her partner are big petrol heads.

I don't do camping, but I have said if the wife wants to go camping then the only place I'm prepared to do it is at Le Mans.

Whats the cost like - ferry/tunnel, food, fuel etc etc

Hopefully can take a few days off from the business next year to go.

It is costing me £185 + food + beer + spending money + toll road money.

That is for one car with 4 people going, ferry crossing, grandstand seat overlooking the pit straight and a camping spot. I don't think that is too bad considering how expensive the F1 is at Silverstone.

Won't make it this year, but we did go to see the American Lemans at Laguna Seca in May. Quite good fun, the 'vettes were deafening.

Enjoy

Wish I was! Went 4 years ago, was great fun. My dad left this morning in his 1956 bel air coupe!! Brave man, imagine the fuel bills!

I'm going in a 1934 Ford hotrod. Not expecting a small fuel bill here either

Haven't been for two years and now sat at work kicking myself. Getting married this year, so roll on next year and maybe something better than my boring Leon Cupra.

I'm not going but the VX is. I've let EyeDot (some may remember him) borrow it to take it over. So if you see someone driving it over there it's not me, I'm far better looking :p

With the 2011 dates announced I've already put my reservation in with one of Radio Le Mans partners :)

Peugeot totally dommindate qualifying and I reckon they're aren't far off race pace.. Audi have got theire work cut out.

Shame about one of the AF Corse Ferraris getting totalled last night. Apparently the engine came through into the cockpit and spit the drivers helmet. They've withdrawn due to the driver having concussion.

will be interesting to see how the "old" Ferrari F1 boys do.

Random, but if your dad is based near Worthing he does the MOT on my dad's hotrod. Saw him on the road on the way home but we were in another car. His looked good :)
