Can i just say thank you to all who has contributed... this has been by far been one of the best threads i've ever created... seeing people raging while throwing accusations like above at me has been extremely entertaining.... i dont think we're far off having this thread shut down.... All i can is my OP stands... get mars bar's out of Wales!!!!

Also.... AFTER 13 PAGES OF IT BEING CONSTANTLY POINTED OUT THAT ENGLAND HAS THE FAR BIGGER POPULATION...... I KNOW

Ok here is my actual two pence thrown in...

If England had not got through and by some miracle Wales had, AND were doing well, then I think the vast majority of Englishmen would be cheering Wales on. I know I would. I also would have no problem with eating a mars bar with a welsh flag on it. The same applies if it was Scotland.

So why do the Welsh and Scots feel differently? I believe it's been passed down through the generations from times that we actually had a reason to not get on.

If Scotland or Ireland had got thro i'd be supporting them.... the fact England ram it down our throats get's us a little annoyed the op is one example of a vast network of the annoying commercial aspect of England football team (not the people)

So you think the Mars are representative of every English company and what English people think?

It's just so obvious that you greatly dislike England, it doesn't matter how you try and dress it up.

Just to clarify... i dont hate English people at all.. just the team

My point was this:

* Majority of Scottish, Welsh and Irish dont support England... so why are having England plastered all over our countries as if to brain wash us to support them...... You wouldn't see mars smear England all over their product in other places round the world who havn't got in to the world cup..!

(please dont responce to that question above we've been over and over and over it for the last 14 pages.
 
I guess the Mars company don't see the problem because we are meant to be united as a kingdom.

And the fact that you've just used the word hate to describe how you feel towards the English team sums this thread up really.

Scotland and Ireland don't have the English bars. Wales is too much of a non-entity to worry about though so Mars just sent them the normal English ones.
