I just hope they don't they dont make the game a ridiculous grind or a £10 purchase, to do certain raids/quests/epics etc.

Not sure where the lifetime would show up tbh, its been a while since I've been to look at my account :)

i'm sure that if you worked out how much people had spent on a recurring monthly sub after the £149 lifetime sub option was removed to now when the £75 option has been reintroduced for a limited time it would add up to more than £74 :p

don't worry about it now - you can game for free :)

I guess the turbine store is gonna help out there too. I'm getting the feeling that 500 points a month isn't gonna be a huge amount.

Going by DDO, here's an example of what your points would be worth :

Ability to choose Drow as a race - 700
Adventure packs - 500 each, on average. This would be equivalent to getting access to the quests in an area - Fornost quest pack, sort of thing.
Ability to play premium classes - 500- 700.

Small scale stuff like experience boosters and healing potions tend to go for 30-100 points each.

Based on the fact that current subscribers will start earning points immediately, you'll have a couple of thousand to spend by the time it all goes live. You won't need to buy adventure packs, so should have plenty to spare.

is it worth getting all the expantions or just get shadows of angmar and the Siege of Mirkwood expantion?

Is there a place to get a key code? insted of buying the CD's?

You can buy the expansions through the codemasters site :)

You have to have Mines of Moria on your account to be able to but Siege of Mirkwood, as MoM is the 50-60 landmass.

SoM is only available through the site, it was never released retail.

G2play.net are selling MoM and original game codes quite cheap, if you want to risk it :)

I've gotten time codes from them for it a few times with no problems, but I know they can be a bit dodgy.

Log in to your codemasters account and scroll down. There should be something saying "Upgrade Subscription" or something.

You have to buy the game before you can get a subscription. Once you register the game the subscription options show up in COGA. Currently £30 for the full game with 30 days included. Just signing up to a trail is not enough.

either i just get shadows of angmar on its own £4.99 with 30 days

includes original version of The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar, Mines of Moria expansion and Siege of Mirkwood digital expansion.

& then £75 for life
