lol @ 'problem' families.
There are still good parents yes, but they're becoming increasingly rare. Like has been said it's just a "Give them whatever to shut them up" attitude. Parents don't want to get off their arse and do some parenting.
Spoiling kids and not punishing them properly for doing wrong is the biggest problem in todays society.
You see it now, kids getting everything paid for, cars and all sorts.
I never got given anything by my parents, since I was 12 I've worked, paper rounds, part time work, nights, early morning shifts. And not neglected my studies either. It's definitely made me a better person.
I think also parents have a problem acknowledging that when their kid turns 18, they are an adult and should have adult responsibilitys, like getting a job and contributing in the household. But I have genuinely seen parents paying their kids through uni, like paying for everything! It's insane.
Anyways, enough ranting about modern parents being morons, it's getting off topic.
Should fly it out to bangkok, they love ladyboys over there.
She wants a car.
cut her some slack, she's probably been making ipads and iphones all day

Kill the parents, foster the child to people who actually want one.

I love The Sun, always full of typos.
Maybe. My point was that there isn't really any way of telling if things are getting worse or not, or if they are, showing how much. I think it's easy to hark back to the good old days using only anecodtal evidence.
It's a big shame to see people rely on their parents, or blatantly sponge off them. I know a few people who have racked up huge phone bills and/or credit card bills and then their parents have paid them off in full, without any question of repaying the money over time. Mine never would have, and I would never have expected them to.
