The TV I was after initially was the 55" LG LE7900 for about £1800. It had everything I wanted, LED, 1080p Full HD, 100hz motion, DLNA,USB. You cannot get this TV for love or money, it's not shipping till mid July ?

Anyway, disappointed, I've been hunting this TV for about a month. I just by chance came across a Toshiba 55" 55WL75 for £1650. New out about a month ago, I thought, Oh well...

This TV is a amazing, LED, 1080p Full HD, 200hz motion, DLNA, Freeview HD, WiFi, SD card reader,USB and Lan ports. I've unpacked it and played a bit of Avatar on it, it's mind blowing. The Toshiba is massive,it's being mounted on the wall tomorrow, it just looks stupid because of it's size on the TV stand.

I feel I have a much better TV to watch the world cup and cheaper.

BTW, if you want one, grab it quick, they are selling quickly.

Nice set - looks sweet but as you say rather goofy on that tiny stand!

I've just grabbed me a Panasonic 50V20 plasma and have yet to set it up but am looking forward to watching some blurays and of course the world cup in HD.

Paid £1425 delivered with 5 year panny warranty.

Just read a review, all excellent for the panny.

First things first.

Put it into movie/cinema mode and off dynamic, and turn off the crap 200hz motion crap technology.

Horrible horrible tech that just makes everything unwatchable with people moving funny smooth weird ways.

Enjoy

Yeah, I've put it into cinema mode, the 200hz motion technology seems ok to me, what's wrong with yours ?

How do you find the WiFi, as in, is it ok ? Haven't tested mine yet.

Up on the wall now. Looks sweet. Nearly finished decorating my cinema/computing room, cables to be hidden.

Hooked it up to a Toshiba BDX2100 Blu Ray player.

Normal DVD in it, anyone guess the film ? shouldn't be too hard.

Looks very high up the wall. I took my fire out and made a unit that fits inside the chimney where the fire was that houses my PS3, wii and cable tv box and mounted My panasonic 50PZ80 so the middle of the tv is at eye level. Who needs warmth in winter when you have 1080p goodness:D

Looks like a nice tv you got yourself there.

edit: shouldn't that sub be on the floor instead of the ceiling?

The TV is actually angled towards the sofa, with a great viewing angle.

I just stuck the sub woofer up there out of the way, but, I'm going to keep it there, the sound seems excellent for some reason, booming across the ceiling.

Hey, how is your TV? Im literally in two minds of getting the Samsung PS50C7000 3D or the toshiba 55WL753....???? I can get the Toshiba for £1475 and the samsung a little cheaper at £1311 but the Toshiba looks mint plus 5' bigger,lol...

Have you done much gaming on it? PS3...ETC...

It's bloody awesome, everyone loves it. Paired with a Panasonic Blu ray player, it's the dogs dangler bits. Hooked up my PC to it for some BC2, it's like a war film.

Toshiba make great TV's, but their Blu ray players suck to high heaven, don't buy one, get the Panasonic.
