I bought a laptop charger from a seller on eBay a couple of months ago, which now doesn't work after just light use. The listing clearly states that it has a 12month warranty, where an exchange will be offered if the item is returned. The seller is just ignoring any contact (eBay messages, emails, gmail chat) and I can't raise a problem with eBay as 45days has passed.

Is there anything I can do?

Have you got proof of the 12 month warrenty, screencap of ebay page or something?

If so and they refuse to honour this surly ebay will refund it with the not as advertised thing that they do.

I could be completely wrong though, i avoid ebay because of things like this.

Are they a business seller?

And was it a BIN item? Have you tried phoning them?
They are a business seller and it was a buy it now item. They appear to send items from the UK, however it seems they are operated from Hong Kong () based on their address and telephone number.

Yes. I can view the 'purchased item' from My eBay.

That's what I thought, but I can't open a dispute in the resolution centre as 45days has passed and the seller won't respond to any contact. Any other way I can contact eBay?

Thanks!

You can contact eBay direct.
If it is ~hong Kong I have no idea what you can do! Their registered business address will be on the listing (HAS to be). If its the UK, go to trading standards. You have full rights on a BIN item as if you bought from OcUK or any other online shop.

Their address is:

I didn't actually read that when I bought it, just noticed that the item location is UK. I'll probably just have to leave it, I was hoping for an exchange.
