Just put in a £100 8 fold accumulator bet for the following nations to win their world cup group:

France
Argentina
England
Germany
Netherlands
Italy
Brazil
Spain

If I'm right, I'll get close to £4k.
What I'm asking is, this is my first bet on this site and I've been reading stories on how if its your first bet and you win quite a bit, they refuse to pay out...

It's probably to do with the free bonuses they sometimes hand out, you usually have to bet a fairly large amount before you can withdraw any of the money won using the bonus.

I can't see how they can withhold it in your case, unless there are some limits placed on the bet.

Contact the betting agent, unless its done with teh free money they sometimes handout for your first bet, I cant see an issue

They're always a bit funny with it, Betfair, who take a % of the winning fee between two players still rang me up after I won £60 on my first go. I got some lippy cockney who was 'very pleased for me' and wondered what my thoughts were for placing such a bet.

Best to check the terms, but standard practice I believe is to pay your winnings minus the free stake.

So say, £20 at 9/2 would only return you £90 as opposed to £110.

40/1 is a bit of a long shot for all of that to happen.

France have looked shocking in their warm-up games, and struggled to overcome Costa Rica (2-1) and lost to China.

Going to put a fiver on that, but with Mexico instead of France.
49.8/1

Also got £2 on Villa to win Golden Boat.
£5 on England to win. (That was fun putting on in the East End of Glasgow)

Who did you place this bet with? Some companies can be a bit funny, but I've not experienced it in the few times I've won >£1k with Ladbrokes and Stan James.

That'd sink surely ;)

LOL what the hell?! They're doing their best to alienate their customers, I swear to god.

Should be an option on the betting slip once you've chosen all the selections.
It's on the bottom if using Willy Hill.

I've only ever done it with football and horse racing I'm afraid. I'll have a look and see if I can see anyway for you to do it.

doesn't look like they allow it then.

You can't do bets like that mate as they're "related" bets.

The outcome of one event may directly affect the outcome of another. For example, if you backed Hamilton for all of those and he tops the practice times and takes pole, he'll have a massively better chance of winning the race. Another example: Backing Arsenal to beat Man United in a double with Arsenal to win the league outright. It wouldn't be allowed.

Who were you trying to back for this? I might be able to find you somewhere that does this :)

Edit - found it. If you're interested, for fastest in FP3, for Pole and to win the race:

Vettel 8/1
Hamilton 9/1
Webber 12/1
Button 40/1
Alonso 50/1
