Unlikely, since Valve have nothing to do with that title apart from it using the Source engine.I haven't read the whole thread, so I hope this hasn't already been posted. But could this be the surprise?

HL2 is old, boring and dead, and I'm getting a touch peeved at having to pay for content I have to get the new bit of it, or get utterly utterly screwed on the single item price.
I have such little interest in Ep 3 now, HL3, a new game, new engine and some new ideas would be interesting, a new CS would be great, Portal was good but I'm not killing myself waiting for a second 1 hour long game(maybe 2) of puzzles that only felt new because we hadn't seen them for so long, but were really incredibly old and basic. THe novelty of an updated incredibly old style of puzzle game won't be there this time.
Valve said:To ask questions about how close we all came to dying, or to ask futile questions about the previously announced E3 ***PORTAL-2-THEMED-FOR-GOD’S SAKE*** surprise or, less futilely, to schedule an appointment to attend a Portal 2 screening at the Valve booth during E3, please contact Valve’s delegate to the EU’s Valve Time Studies Group, Doug Lombardi.
Hopefully the surprise isn't a delay![]()
I'm surprised that Blizzard didn't pick up IceFrog first. Can't wait for a new kind of DotA but seeing as Valve focuses on FPSs I'm wondering what's going to happen.
Aperture Science said:“Also, the game will be even better,” they added, missing an historic opportunity to create the first product delay press release to mention that a product is being delayed to make it worse.
I'd laugh if it's just a gaint projector screen looping Rick Astley.![]()
