Does anyone here sign off their text messages with your name (when sending to a friend on a regular basis)?

Does that not seem slightly stupid, and a waste of precious characters, as they quite obviously know who it's from!

Same with forum posts actually...

This is just one of many things I have to put up with whilst out on a Pasty hunt. No matter how old they are there's text speak, slang, name signing hugs, Mwah the lot.
I say nowt to the Doris but those that text like this don't get no long thing from me.

Never, unless its someone who i know will not have my number...

RopAyy

*Edit - Tried, and i disliked writing my user name there so it wont be happening again.

No it's a waste of time, but then again I rarely text.

Looking over my itemised bill the other day, I've sent 13 text messages in the 14 months I've had my phone contract.

No, more than likely your name is already available - whether that be a phone or forum post.

I sometimes sign my text messages off with a 'x' though. Usually to the most inappropriate people as well for some reason. :p
