I don't think overclockers have used the correct box art. i5 670 is a Dual core - not a quad core desktop model cpu.

All that proves is, idiots aren't a new phenomena. Seriously, is it actually a quad core or a dual core, which bits wrong. £200 just seems, beyond ridiculous for a dual core even with a fantastic IGP, let alone the turd Intel's duct taped onto their core.

Nope, deffo a dual core, with hyperthreading, and am I missing something or is 73W pretty horrible for a dual core on the next process down, yes even considering a 3-5w IGP included. Surely a 95W quad should be pushing lower than 75W when shrunken to 32nm, let alone a dual?
 
Yeah its a dual core with hyper threading... and I agree 73w isn't great for what it is... shouldn't be over 65 tops.
