Ms Office 2010 Day of Release

hello all

anyone played with beta of office 2010 x64?

i have windows 4 x64 and wanna install office 10 x64, is that a wise move or do i need to install x86?

isnt it released this month?

If you use any office add-ons go with x86. If you use massive files (and I mean massive) then go with x64.

In truth for most people it doesn't really matter which version you get as long as the OS is compatible and it runs. I'm sticking with x86.

no addons really accept save to PDF and would there be 2 seprate cds to one dvd if you know?

Already out on Microsoft Home Use - £8.95 for Professional Plus.

Been out on MSDN and TechNet a fair while, but using that at home is a big no-no (fair enough tbh) so I had to wait for it to appear on Home Use.


End of June it comes out for Retail, ~£380 IIRC.

Who told you it was a no-no? The EULA (at least the one I read) doesn't explicitly prohibit use at home.
