Scariest thing you have ever done ?

The taxi ride from hurgada(sp) airport to hotel in egypt.

Was just some knackered old car with a crazy guy, reminded me of the intro to COD4 when your sitting in the car  getting taken god knows where.

Guy got a decent tip when we got to the hotel and not to some dodgy spot with some hostage taking crazies! :D

Actually one of the scariest things I've ever done is the taxi ride from Cairo to the hotel next to the Pyramids.
That was a real shocka.

The taxi ride from Hurghada was nothing compared to Cairo.

I just remembered the scariest thing EVER.
It was in Hurghada about 6 weeks ago when I went snorkelling.
I went left when everybody went right and I went quite some distance from the boat.
I then accidentally took a load of salt water up my nose and down my throat and I completely lost it.
I really thought I was going to drown and I even shouted for help but nobody heard.
As I was getting weaker and getting worse I was just about to go under when I realised if I get on my back I can't drown.
I can float for England and in salt water I just can't drown.
I stayed like that for about 5 minutes until I was composed and slowly made my way back to the boat.
Lucky lucky boy.

the thing about doing a bungee jump for the first time is that you really dont think that your being perfectly secured by a peice of interwoven elastic, you really do think your throwing yourself off a ledge with just the faintest thought in the back of your head that your actually going to bounce back up, takes some balls, just like skydiving, its all about putting your faith into your equipment, which is really... quite hard to do, thus making it such an amazing rush!

Just had a big black woman with saucer pupils ask me if I was looking for business.. Pretty scary story bro.

Edit: Actual answer = LSD

Climbing up a flare tower (over 140m up on a 60" bit of pipe with a ladder clipped to the side.) It moves allot in the wind and I hate heights. best view of a refinery though IF you dare open your eyes while its swinging back and forth.
