Improve your grammar

As an English teacher, I passed with flying colours ;)

On a serious note, this is actually a fantastic resource I can pass on to my students. Cheers!

The fact an English university has had to put this up says it all. Peoples' writing skills are are poor these days; they're not taught how to properly manipulate their own first language. It's a useful skill not only for art subjects but science reports and articles too.

Edit - since we're all here to learn, is that the correct use of a semicolon or should the second point be before the first (if that makes any sense)?

..and for everything else!

I'd like to say that it's there for international students, but I highly doubt it..

People's.

People is already plural. Person is the singular.

I definatly wasn't expecting the spanish inquisition when taking grammar exercises...

It was very usefull though. I'd never fully understood the use of colons and semi colons before.

Edit: I hate typo's

What about poor grammar and spelling?

I can't imagine half a colon would do you much good!

Thanks OP. There were a few bits I didn't know in there.

i couldnt give a crap blah blah herpa derpa

Do you realise that writing in this way means nobody will bother to read your post?
I got to the sixth word then gave up. It's too much work trying to fill in the bits you couldn't be bothered with just so I can read it.
