To be honest, with the threads he's been making and the replies he's been doing, I kinda saw that coming. Didn't expect him to *boom* at Motors, of all places (more straight talks and mods).
Dude, if you can read this: Just keep practising and take on people's criticism and advice (on TP since you're still posting there) - we are not saying we are better than you, we just want you to learn from your mistakes to better your shots. Just look at the attitude you've replied with regards to your duck shot in Post Your Pictures Here, your shot is out of focus, calibrated screen or not, a little contrast and saturation will help bring out a picture by a mile. Stop with the I'm obviously right and you guys stop picking on me. There's a difference between picking on you when you don't take on advice/criticism.
Anyway, good luck and perhaps with luck, we'll se an explored shot of yours on flickr.

Thanks for bringing that up. There's no need to just confine the insults to one thread, just spread them about a bit. This thread was way too serious and helpful, so it's good that you've brought it down a few levels. I guess he's more likely to read this one now that he's permabanned than the other, so your scathing insult has more chance of inflicting a heart stopping wound.
Damn shame 2bl, I honestly thought that you were really trying with your snaps and it would have been nice to see your continued improvement.
One thing I learned early on after 10 minutes of reading the Motors section was dont post in it if you want any kind of grown up debate and conversation.

You just don't go in there acting like an arse or thinking you know it all.

There is a Lot wrong with Motors & those that chat together voice it All the time.
We have a Community but Motors just has a few google boys who enjoy slating anybody that's not in the Clique.
I & Many others are Sick of it.

Ohh well I like it. The no nonsense advice is spot on (and it's normally very good advice but people choose not to accept it) and the fact if anyone goes in there to be a windup (see twoblacklines) gets shot down immediatley.

I appreciate that myself mate & Yes some People do deserve to be pulled on BS etc but there is just No community feel in Motors because of the attitude of the google boyz.

i agree with malc,motor's is only good if you agree with fox and have a bmw.
no one else is allowed another car unless it's a bmw or ford focus.
i read in motors and find it quite harsh most of the time and can be upsetting to some people who might take it the wrong way.
just dont be so judgemental on what people want or buy.
thats just my view anyway.

Not just that, but you also have to prove to exhaustion that you can afford to both own, run and ultimately replace one of these cars. Even then, it still won't be the right model or colour of car, and even if it is you will almost certainly have cleaned it in an incorrect manner. Get past all that, and you will not be able to drive it properly.
To a passing casual user, the attitude on Motors is dreadful. I'm very surprised that OcUK allow it to go on, as they run the risk of alienating every new customer that happens to wander in there.
With regards to the OP, he struck me as being slightly over-emotional, and probably has high aspirations which when mixed with a few beers in the evening could often spill over. He seemed very slow to take advice (a few examples here in Photography, where he insisted that photos were fine which were clearly out of focus). In Motors I could understand a reaction to their 'advice', as it is normally delivered in a poor manner. Here in Photography though, I think everyone is a little more patient. I've learned a lot from the people here, and still do.
