blissfully unaware that their cars are inferior to the competition? Quite probably! Most people haven't the foggiest about cars or the costs of motoring. The fact their usually black and white 'opinion' means that there are only ever 1 or 2 cars that they can ever recommend is so at odds with the real world where many people enjoy many different cars blissfully unaware...
Exactly! If someone is looking for a good upper medium segment car, the the Mondeo is the best choice. Sure, Motors could recommend a Vectra or a Passat or a Laguna or an Avensis, but we'd be recommending a car that isn't as good a package! The thing is though, most advice posted here is factual. If someone recommends a Mondeo instead of a Renault Laguna or a Kia or something, don't you think there's a reason why?![]()
maybe there should be a stickie for OCUK approved and non approved cars?
Wouldn't be a bad idea. It's exactly what the motoring press do i.e. here's a list of what we feel are the best cars in each segment, and why.maybe there should be a stickie for OCUK approved and non approved cars?

Fox is the reason why this place has a bad rep

This forum works because people can post what they think. They often think rubbish but thats part of life, isnt it?
Someone should design a seal of approval also.
