It was originally Suspended, think the fact he expected to get Perma'd sounded like he wanted to be. Must've changed their minds.

Well apart from the fact he's just come back off a month long ban and has been banned more times than me (that's a lot) then I don't think he will ever learn.

Nah, they've actually gotten a whole lot better with their more recent models, not that their early ones were bad... just worse than Canon and Nikon

When I read this thread at 5:30am (had an early trail ride) his status read "PermaBan"

I hope 2lb will read the comments here and learn his lesson, im sure he hasn't seen things laid out as clear as here.

I'm not going to make a big deal over it, but it does amuse me greatly that since this thread started with the general "Haha, look at motors, if you havn't got a BMW or a Mondeo, you're a nobody, Motors sucks because of that. Isn't it awful and unwelcoming"

Since then we have several comments "Yeah but, if you want to be able to take photos with a camera, it has to be a Canon or a Nikon". I don't know if these are partially or fully in jest, but it struck me as incredibly ironic.

Nobody has said that, if they had it was very obviously tongue in cheek.

You can take great photos on practically anything, from a pin hole camera to a Nikon D3x.

However, for someone starting out and looking for their first DSLR Canon and Nikon are the obvious choices, due to having a wider range of lenses and a larger community of users.

I wasn't, it was a genuine question and it sounded quite threatening and hardly polite?
