any new laptop recommendations?

hey guys, as the title suggests, anyone with any good laptop recommendations please just post, would be much appreciated. Looking for something high performance to do work on (not too important on the gaming front as got a computer for this). So something good, worth getting with good all round performance =)

just ordered sony e-series 15.5" for £758 (though could have got it for £658), seems to get good reviews

the 15.5 one, customised to how i wanted it. as said could have got it for £658 and may still go for the lower specs (order didn't go through as no money on the card i'm holding) which i've been told would be almost the same power.

yup only the one but u get them in 3 different sizes (14", 15.5", and 17.3") not that it makes a difference unless u want 2 watch videos and play games lol

You may have to be a bit more specific on the "work to do" bit. Do you require a quad CPU in there with a large screen? What's your max budget?

work to do i.e. basic stuff like office programs, a little bit of gaming here and there. i think after reading a round 4 a bit i would like to stick to an i3 or i5 processor, seem to get better reviews than the duo counterparts. and yes a large screen. max budget £500-600.
