im planning on getting a 32inch LED 1080P 100MHZ Tv for my bedroom to replace my current sony bravia 720P (which is awful and fuzzy) But i have a worry.
Will watching dvd's on an even higher definition tv LED 1080P 100Mhz be okay? watching them on my current tv leave them looking a cross between dvds and VHS when it comes to quality. you can see rainbow (artifacts?)in the darker areas. Will i have to replace ALL my dvd's for blue rays to get a clear quality? i currently have around 412 Dvd's >< and dont fancy replacing them for blue rays lol.

I did have a DVD upscaler (phillips and was around £49.99) but it was awful :( spesh on older dvd's. I decided to just use ps3 which seemed to work pretty well!

PS3 upscales also, I use mine soley for BD and DVD and both are pin sharp on a 40" 1080P set.

Could be that your old TV is just a bit naff ?

I use my PS3 for upscaling but it's average at best, especially with badly flagged video.

For the most part it'll look fine :)

My PS3 upscales brilliantly. Obviously it depends a lot on the transfer of the DVD itself, but I don't think I have ever seen one that was bad.
